Fawad Chaudhry on Monday said that the court’s rejection of a petition seeking release of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on bail on medical grounds in the Al-Azizia corruption case has ruled out the impression of any deal. While talking to media persons here, he said that NAB has really worked hard towards anti-corruption drive and the government will further facilitate NAB through amendments to strengthen it. Giving an example of senior PTI leader Aleem Khan, who has been arrested over corruption charges, the federal minister said that PTI didn’t even politicise the matter and also didn’t intervene in the matter of NAB. He said the nation wants accountability against every looted penny. He said that accountability will be across the board.
