It is interesting to note that about two months back, Raza Hayat Hiraj MNA, moved a private bill in the National Assembly to impose a bar on those with assets outside the country. Now after he has become a minister of state with PML-Q joining the coalition government with PPP, his bill has been technically killed in the relevant parliamentary committee. Since Raza Hayat Hiraj is now a minister of state, as a member of the cabinet, he cannot move any bill in the capacity of a member.
