PTI leadership has zero tolerance against corruption: Naeem

ISLAMABAD: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Naeem-ul-Haq on Thursday said Prime Minister Imran Khan was against corruption from day one and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) would take action against corrupt elements whether they are 100 or 1000 in number.
The Prime Minister had advised the Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) during a meeting action be taken against all corrupt elements even if they belonged to any political party, including PTI, and no immunity should be given to them, he said talking to PTV. The PTI and its leadership had zero tolerance against corruption, he added.
The Adviser said Pakistan had great and historical relations with Saudi Arabia and Iran, adding that we would never want to make any rift with the two.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to resolve tension between Saudi Arabia and Iran and hoped that a positive move would be made very soon in that regard.
To a question, he said Pakistan wanted good economic relations with all the countries and economic diplomacy would be adopted for the purpose.
The government was going to issue directions to all ambassadors for establishing economic relations with all the countries which would be beneficial to the country and helpful for strengthening national economy.
