8th Poster Painting Exhibition and Prize Distribution Ceremony
“On Child’s View of Corruption”
held on 28th April 2010

 

 

The 8th Poster Painting Exhibition and Prize Distribution Ceremony “On Child’s View of Corruption” were held on 28th April 2010 at Malik Cambridge Secondary School, Ziarat Road, Kuchlak, Balochistan.

The program started with recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran.

Mr. Abdul Rashid Kakar, CEO of Kuchlak Welfare Society gave an introduction. It was followed by speeches by Mr. Abdul Wali Kakar, Central Committee Member BNP, Mr. Jafar Kakar, Chairman of Provincial Private Schools and N.A. Mirza, Project Coordinator of Transparency International Pakistan.

This ceremony was attended by students of 15 schools and their facilitators. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Winners from each school were give prizes. Three Overall Winners were also chosen from the participating schools and especial prizes were given to them.

After the Prize Distribution Ceremony, the students and the guests were invited to view the 8th Poster Painting Exhibition. On viewing the posters a lot of positive comments were heard from them. The guests were amazed by the topics that the students had portrayed.

Kuchlak Welfare Society is going to exhibit the award winning entries to each of the participating schools, enabling the students of these schools to view them.
