KARACHI: Pakistan State Oil (PSO) and Transparency International Pakistan (TIP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at PSO House here on Monday.
On the occasion, Irfan K Qureshi Managing Director represented Pakistan State Oil whereas Syed Adil Gillani, Chairman signed the MoU on behalf of Transparency tntemational,
Pakistan State Oil being the largest energy company has always strived to uphold values and business ethics. Concurrent with the Company’s Quality Policy and endeavour to adopt best business practices, an agreement with M/s Transparency International Pakistan (TIP) has been inked to further ensure transparency in the Procurement Cycle adopted by the Company.

Speaking on the occasion, MD PSO, Irfan Qureshi said that this initiative should facilitate the company in further improving the procurement procedures and ensuring more compliance of the directives of Public Procurement Rules. The Chairman TIP, Adil Gilani, lauded the company’s initiative in this direction which would result in the best interest of the company and the country at large. —PR
