RDO had arranged a workshop or approximately 63 NGOs in Punjab at the Food Garden Restaurant in Faisalabad.

Some of the speakers invited here Chaudery Amjad Ali Warraich, Chairman Pakistan National Muslim League Khalil Tahir Sandhu, MPA and Parlimentary Secretary for Human Right and Minorities affairs and Major® Abdul Rehman Rana, MPA PP53.


Mr. Mohsin of RDO gave the introducing speech. He spoke about their relationship with TI-P. He also stated their view of corruption.

Ms. N.A. Mirza Project Coordinator of TIP-ALAC, gave a short talk on anticorruption and functions of ALAC. She also gave the views of TIP/ALAC on the formation of the network and asked them to give their views and ideas for it. The purpose of forming the Network was that a vast area of the grass root level population will become aware of the vast definition of corruption and its far reaching consequences. It will also get the civil society a platform from where their grievance can be addressed. 

A lot of the participants were only aware that Transparency International Pakistan did service and they learnt through the media. But after today’s session they came to know of the vast work that TI-P does and are willing to join its movement.
