The Annual Members’ meeting of TI-P took place at the Hotel Avari at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, 22nd June, 2009 in Karachi.

The meeting was attended by members of TI-P as well as the board of trustees. New trustees who were elected to the board were introduced by the chairman at the start of the meeting. Those who were given membership included Justice (R) Haziqul Khairi, ex-Chief Justice of the Shariat Court, Justice (R) Dr. Ghous Mohammad, ex-Justice of Sindh High Court, Engr. M.A. Jabbar, Chairman SITE Association of Industries, Sohail Muzaffar, Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court and industrialist Javed Farooq. Activities of the past year, the recently published NCPS 2009 report, details pertaining to the ACPP Phase II, the audit report, and the budget were presented at the meeting. A charged and conducive open forum where the attendees presented their views on how the organization needs must tackle corruption pervading in the nation ended the meeting.
