Debriefing seminar for FK Norway South-South exchange program was held in Bangkok on 3rd and 4th July 2010. All TI South Asian sub-regional chapters participating in the program were present there. TI Pakistan was represented by Director Projects Dr N.I. Khowaja and the exchange fellow from TI Pakistan Asif Shakeel.

First session on day 1 started with Welcome speech from FK representative Asia Mr. Sacha Jotisalikorn. His speech was followed by presentations from lead partners. Lead partner for TI exchange project, TI Nepal’s presentation was done by its Executive Director Mr. Ashish Thapa. He discussed the exchange from various aspects and said that it will take some more time for results to take its full shape.


Post-lunch session was activity based where partners and participants made timeline charts to elaborate challenges they faced and benefits that were gained from exchange program.

Last day of the seminar began with presentations. Partner representatives and participants from TI Pakistan, TI Bangladesh, TI Nepal, TI Sri Lanka, TI India and Transparency Maldives made their presentations which stressed on the need to learn from experiences so that future exchange fellows can be facilitated in the best possible way. A brief session was held to mark the end of debriefing seminar in which Mr. Sacha thanked partners and participants for their interest in the exchange program.

TI Pakistan Director Projects Dr. N.I. Khowaja represented the national chapter in the FK preparatory course held on 5th and 6th July. On the first day, different teambuilding activities were held which were aimed to make participants understand the possible situations that may come across them during the stay period. On the next day, Ms. Suselo conducted a session for partners on managing and reporting for the results of FK exchange program. It was followed by a partners-participants meeting where TI chapters signed FK agreement papers for the next exchange of employees.
