GUJRANWALA: The Customs Intelligence raided a warehouse at Kacha Khyali road on Sunday and seized 160 tonnes of precious metal smuggled from Greece.
Customs Inspector Majid Shah told the media that they received information about smuggling of precious metal into Gujranwala from Greece through Quetta for further supply to other cities.
A team raided a warehouse on Kacha Khyali road and recovered 160 tonnes of precious metal worth more than Rs60 million. They held the warehouse owner and interrogated him about the smugglers.
